The 2021-22 school year is just weeks away! We are preparing to welcome our students back into the school building in early August. Our optional Matador Transitions program for our incoming 5th graders is scheduled for Thursday, July 29th, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. This is a program that allows our incoming students to meet their teachers, get to know their way around the school building, learn about our policies and procedures, understand our expectations of each student, and get their schedules for the school year. Here is some important information about Matador Transitions:

Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.

Students will be escorted to the gym to hang out with their peers and teachers until 9 a.m.
Parents are welcome and encouraged to stay for coffee in the cafeteria during which time our PTO leaders, assistant principals, counselors, and I will speak to the parents/guardians and will answer questions that may be burning in your minds.

We will provide snacks, drinks, and lunch for the students. We will be serving pizza. If your child has any food allergies, we encourage you to send lunch, snacks, and drinks with him/her. Please let us know of any issues.

Dismissal from Matador Transitions will begin at 2:50 p.m. There will be no bus service for this program. All students must be picked up in the car line by 3:05.
