Boys soccer info

 In athletics, Current Events

Next Tuesday, 2/4, during PLT, I will host an informational meeting for any boys in grades 6-8 interested in trying out for the soccer team AND for 5th grade boys interested in being a manager.  During this meeting, I will be handing out copies of the required paperwork–physical, insurance, emergency, concussion, cardiac arrest, player info, and teacher recommendations.  Students who already have a physical on file will need to let me know so I can get that from the school.  Any basketball player interested in trying out should let me know during that meeting so that I can make arrangements with Coach W.  Parents, I can send you an electronic copy if you need/prefer.  This paperwork must be in before tryouts.

Tryouts will be February 11-13 (weather permitting).  Athletes trying out for the team will need shinguards, water, and both running shoes and cleats.  I will be selecting up to 26 athletes for the team.  Tryouts will be after school and will conclude at or before 6pm; please be sure you are ready to pick up your athlete by 6pm.  Athletes may be involved in more than one activity at a time, as long as schedules make it worthwhile for all parties.  Returning players have an advantage but are not guaranteed a roster spot and are required to attend tryouts.

I will post the team roster the day after tryouts concludes, and will have an Evrits group created for just those athletes shortly thereafter.  Please feel free to email with any questions you have!

Coach Bryant
