William West, 7th grade Social Studies

A rare Nashville native, William grew up right down the road from JT Moore on Granny White. He went to Percy Priest Elementary before attending University School of Nashville, and his oldest sister actually went to Stokes Middle School back in the day before the merge. William loves to build things, including tables, computers and is currently working on carving wooden spoons. His inspiration is to be the best teacher he can be, and provide his students with the highest quality education possible. When it comes to his students, he believes that they should focus on school and don’t get too wrapped up in the drama. Their friend groups will change over time no matter what, and that can be a good thing! His words to live by is a quote from his Father, “Focus on what you CAN control.”
