JT Moore 8th graders attending Hillsboro High School in the fall should consider applying to the Interdisciplinary Science and Research (ISR) Program.

ISR is a four-year science research program taught at Hillsboro in partnership with the Center for Science Outreach at Vanderbilt University.

While it fits within a student’s regular schedule, ISR is unlike any other class taught at Hillsboro. Lead professors Dr. Josh Swartz and Dr. Daniel Michel are PhD scientists and leverage their expertise to create an engaging, hands-on, and academically challenging STEM curriculum.

The application deadline of May 21 is fast approaching. Please be sure the short-essay section of the application is completed. See HHS ISR website here.
