Our guest speakers will include Hillsboro HS Freshman Academy Vice Principal Dr. Parker Altman. Dr. Altman is new to Hillsboro this year, and is implementing wonderful programs for our rising 9th graders. He will discuss the many changes and accomplishments at Hillsboro, and field questions. Dr. Altman is a candid speaker, and parents of all ages interested in the transition of their students to Hillsboro will find this meeting very interesting. Also speaking will be Rita McDonald who works at the Chamber and is the new Director of One Nashville, the newly found umbrella organization designed to help schools give and receive volunteer help. Feel free to bring your lunch!

Monday May 17th is our end of year PTO meeting and social at the home of Terri and Mike Patton starting at 7pm. Please bring a dish to share and mingle with your fellow JTM parents! The Patton’s address is 110 Lynnwood Blvd, 37205-2904. They are on the “no thru traffic” section of Lynnwood. If you are turning east off of Harding by the Belle Meade Kroger onto Lynnwood Terrace, their street would be your first left off Lynnwood Terrace. Park on the street or in the driveway.

There will be a baseball informational meeting on Wednesday, Dec 16th at 6:00pm at West End Middle School in the cafeteria.  Anyone interested in trying out should attend.  The team is open to anyone in the 5th -8th grades.  Even if you were on the team last year, or you came to fall try-outs, you should come to this meeting.
