April 1st will be our dance and a theme has been decided : Beauty and the Geeks! Here are the details:
April 1st, 2010:
5th and 6th Grades – 5:30-7:00
7th and 8th Grades – 7:00- 9:00
Admission: $5.00 – “tickets” on sale March 22-30 – includes cookie and water.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and will NOT be available on the night of the dance.
Pizza – $1.00 a slice – available and paid for at the dance
Students must have ID the night of the dance
Drop off in bus lane, pick up in parent drive through
Dance Qualifications from March 8- March 30*:
- No ISS
- No OSS
- No office referral
- No bus referral
* Money will be refunded if necessary
Dance Volunteers Needed
If you are interested in volunteering for the jobs listed below, please contact Ethel Harris at heavenlyimages7@yahoo.com or 414-3069. She is the Student Council liaison and she will organize the volunteers.
Volunteers are needed for:
Donation of cookies – individually wrapped – send to school on March 30
Donation of water – small bottles – send in by March 30
Sell tickets- March 22- 30
Check In – list of students will be provided – specify which dance
Serving cookies, water, pizza for both dances – specify dance
Chaperones – specify which dance you would like chaperone
Take pictures to go on our website for both dances - specify dance
Set- up & Clean- up
Decorations – please coordinate with Mr. Yax instead of Ethel. Please just call him at the school or email jeremy.yax@mnps.org
