The Lady Matadors played two awesome matches in the finals of the Western Division Tournament to bring home the eleventh Western Division Championship.

In the first match Moore played Oliver, the first place winner from the South West. Moore won in the first game 22 to 20 and in the second game 21 to 17 advancing our team to the tournament finals. Moore faced MLK in the finals. In the first game Moore easily dominated MLK with a score of 21 to 11. In the second game MLK started off with the lead, but the Lady Matadors took control of the game and won 21 to 16. Savannah, Amerah, Kayla, Ashlyn, Becca, Anna and Kelly were selected to the all tournament team. Coach Kurzrock was proud of her whole team for their team effort and sportsmanship.

The Lady Matadors will enter the City Championship on Monday, October 12th, at MLK.

McAdoo, Vashnie Perry, and Mary Cayten Brakefield.
